May the odds be ever in your favor...

So sorry the i haven't been on for like a month!! Had a huge presentation to do comparing "The lord of the flies" and "the coral island" -_- took me forever to do!! But recommend Lord of the Flies, in which Golding uses 12 year old English schoolboys on an island to repressent the problems in society. Really interesting and relatively short. Then I had a bunch of essays to do on The Wars by Timothy Findley. It's about a 19 year old canadian soldier who goes off to fight in WWI. Yes it doesnt sound very interesting but you'd be surprised. It explored how the lessons of war are too quickly forgotten, hence the title The Wars (though it only talks about WWI). And then of course there were finals and then traveling to Haiti and Jamaica. So, super busy and really sorry!!

So if you couldn't tell by the title, this post is going to be about THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins. Can't wait for the movie! Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

I read this book over the summer and instantly fell in love! I loved the storyline of fighting for survival. I loved the characters and how real they felt and reacted. I loved the relationship between Katniss and Peeta. I loved all the plot twists and surprises. But mostly i loved how this book was an absolute page turner! Thank god i bought the complete boxed set from BN because it would've sucked to have to wait for the next one. Its rare to find a series and just sit there and want to read it without stopping to do anything else. I honestly sat in bed reading and finished the trilogy in a day and a half. They're really easy to read and i recommend the books to everyone!! ***** A 5 STAR BOOK (And a must read series)
